AllSaints
Never following the trend to express individuality and attitude.
The AllSaints clothing brand established itself in 1994, its name being in part recognition to the television exploits of Simon Templar the well loved and adored (TV’s The Saint) and part in homage to Allsaints Road in Notting Hill (an area notorious for its musical and artistic associations. Especially to such iconic bands as the Clash.
On AllSaints Day November 1st 1997 AllSaints opened their first standalone store in Fouberts Place, off Carnaby Street, presenting the complete menswear collection for the first time.
In 1998 the Womenswear collection was born directly out of the expanding menswear collection of sharp tailoring, fine knits and the signature washed leathers; injecting sexiness into the “boyfriend” wardrobe.
Wholesaling to well known brands such as Harvey Nichols, Barneys stores in New York and Japan and Harrods here in the UK, making a name for itself amongst the new ever increasing breed of style conscious shoppers.
AllSaints has earned its place as one of the most successful British brands, in many different countries. It has an enviable place on the High Streets, Boulevards and Sidewalks of the world.
AllSaints has also developed a unique relationship with the very cream of the British music industry over the years, from the likes of the Stereophonics, U2, Kelis, The Rakes, The Kooks, Robbie Williams and Baby Shambles as an important part of their design culture throughout the brand.
As a testament to its dedication to music the AllSaints brand regurally hosts underground All Music parties in the UK & US throughout the year as a showcase for the ever emerging stock of British and US talent.
Their clothing is an expression of the inner rebel, and to non-conformity, this has deserved them their following the world over.
It really is enjoyable to visit one of AllSaints Clothing stores, with theor interesting eye catching and thought provoking displays. The website has the same feel which makes it so easy to browse through the whole range, the vintage section is especially exciting and there are always suggestion regarding the products that can help create and develop your personalised AllSaints look.
